I never liked Ferdie his insight was rather shallow and his delivery was rather stupid. The guy was a Doctor and he came off as dumb as an ass clown. Plus Ferdie sucked even more in Spanish.

Yeah I'm surprised more people didn't jump on me for saying Pacheco was a dick. The reason I even mentioned Pacheco was because he was doing commentary on a Hearns fight (sometime after Barkley but before Virgil Hill) and he's openly digging at Hearns, referring to him as "sad" and at one point calling him pathetic. This is on top of the way I've seen him treat other fighters after a loss (I believe he cut off a fighter during his retirement speech after a fight) and that's where you cross the line from hard hitting commentator to full on dickhead.

 

I need an explanation on this one.

i just notice whenever he interviews black boxers he asks them the most trivial and condenscending of questions. racist may be going a bit far, but he definitely has a somewhat "different" attitude when interviewing black boxers.

 

1) NON boxing personalities, learn to read.

2) when you make at least 1/10th the money he does then you can say something, but until then accept your life and your your minimum wage job. Envy isn't healthy

 

Hmm...I could believe Kellerman is racist against Eastern European fighters but black boxers? I don't think so. For one he loves Bernard Hopkins, Roy Jones Jr and Pernell Whitaker. At one point on ESPN, Lou Dibella came down and told him personally to stop comparing everyone to Pernell Whitaker unfairly. He and Lennox Lewis seem to get along well (although whenever Kellerman corrects Lennox, he loses his ****). This is a guy who thought Roy Jones Jr could beat The Klitschkos. He loves Paul Williams and has a stranglehold on the genitals of Ali Funeka.

I think Max is many things...but racist against black fighters? I don't know if I'd agree with that at all.

 

you know to tell you the truth i was making that assumtion after his interview with PBF after his fight with JMM. just very condenscending and an all around douchebag, but now that you've told me this i can say i was wrong lol.

 

I wonder if he was nervous with Floyd. We all know Floyd is sensitive when it comes to interviews and it looked like Kellerman was trying not to upset Floyd.

Regarding the topic, where do you start? So many running the sport are corrupt or immoral and too many in the media are out and out apologists for them and their 'regimes'. At the moment, I'd say Sulaiman.
