On a p4p scale (and all time), who do you rate higher? Wright has the bigger names, ie Trinidad, Mosley, BUT they were smaller men than he was. He also has many losses, but is undoubtedly an ATG.

Calzaghe on the other hand is the best 168 pounder ever. He also has some great wins, to perhaps smaller names, but still great wins nonetheless, such as Eubank, Reid (a true elite fighter when they fought), Lacy and Kessler. Throw in his title defenses and unbeaten record.

Its pretty even really. p4p, Calzaghe is the better fighter imho, though Wright does have the seemingly bigger names on his resume. However it is not black and white, and it could be argued Calzaghe's resume is superior, when considering Wright's best wins were against past prime, welterweights.

I give it to Calzaghe, though I think their legacies amount to roughly the same level..

Calzaghe is miles better in every respect

Calzaghe could replicate the Mona Lisa if he wanted to

    Wow your dumb.

Winky has a better resume, and is by far the better defensive fighter.

Joe on the other hand is undefeated and is by far the better offensive fighter.

Winky has won more titles in more divisions.

Joe has successfully defended his title more than anyone else.

Joe is THE best SMW of all time.

Winky is one of (arguably the best) LMW of all time.

Its VERY close....but I give the edge to Joe.

    I take your points

    They aren't much good mind

Wright is better at doing an impression of a crab, in a boxing ring, that's about it I'm afraid

Hasn't Winky only won titles at light middleweight?

    Who the **** are they?

If you want to start talking about aliases, you better be a girl, Sue.

I simply appreciate the genius of Joe Calzaghe, and the obvious limitations of that crab-like boring fighter nobody will give a flying **** about in years to come. ****, I almost forgot his name

    Thus says TFFP

Agreed...Joe isn't miles ahead of Winky in terms of accomplishments and rankings.
