All Time P4P Calzaghe or Wright?

Hey TFFP don't take anything away from Winky, He is a great fighter, unlike most Americans has travelled to fight (I'm not saying staying at home and fighting is a bad thing ) he's even fought here in the UK. He will also fight anybody.
I'm Welsh so am going to say Joe is better but Winky is a great and deserves respect.

As a Welshman you are being biased toward Joe, that's no bad thing, I am too. But you don't have to be rude toward Winky to favour Joe.

 

his opposition is more or less the same as joe's. aside from prime mosley, joe's wins over reid, eubanks, lacy, kessler are better than wrights best wins. not to mention he drew with taylor.

I would go with Calzaghe as far as head 2 head in their respective weight classes. I think Joe was a little bit better at 168 in his prime than Winky at 154 in his, but it is close. Winky has beaten the better fighters though.

 

I believe Calzageh is superior defensively. Winky just has a more defensive style. If Calzaghe wanted to go defensive, with his immense evasiveness, I believe he would be hit less than Winky could even dream about.

When you consider how agressive Joe is and how little he still gets hit, it becomes apparent Calzaghe the the more defensively skilled fighter.

Wright is excellent however, Calzaghe is awe-inspiring though.
