Benny Lynch is always totally overlooked in favour of Ken Buchanan (also a great fighter in his own right)

I like to base these things on who I have seen fight so will exclude anyone who never fought in mid-late 80s onwards.

    1. Calzaghe
    2. Lewis
    3. S Harrison (if he never had all his problems would have fancied him to have been number 1)
    4. Froch
    5. Naz
    6. T Fury
    7. Eubank Sr
    8. Hatton
    9. Haye Pre injury
    10. Watson

Not basing my order on who achieved the most as some people like Harrison and Fury haven't fulfilled anywhere near full potential though Fury has chance of doing so. Basing Haye pre injury at CW as don't think he was a great heavyweight. Probably forgot someone on my list lol.

Ken Buchanan put up a better fight vs Duran than Eubank would of! Duran said looking at each department of a boxer, Buchanan was the best he faced, Collins didn`t say the same about Eubank, the only department Eubank came out on top was his strength and maybe chin.

You really think Bruno could have beaten a heavyweight that could fight like Robinson or Curry, both fighters may have been off colour when they lost to the above Brits but so was Tyson, Lewis and Witherspoon, Bruno lost all his biggest fights, McCall was overrated and beat Lewis while he was being trained by an idiot.

Scott Harrison was as hard as nails, very good fighter however I don't have him as high as that. You favour him a lot. I'm sure I once heard you say he is a family friend or you know him?

Not looking to cause any harm I'm just interested

No don't know him m8, just appreciated how good he was at his very best. Remember the likes of Non Arum saying back in the vest he was best fighter in Britain when Calzaghe and Hstgin were at their best. Remember him beating both to British Boxer of the Year. When he was meant to be relatively on the ball between fights and training at his max he was unstoppable as seen on such occasions against Chacon, Mendina 2 and McCullough fights.

If he stayed away from recreational drugs and drink yes 100%. Had a good career but could have had an all time great one. He never took up boxing till he was 15 and whilst still a teenager he became the first ever Brit to medal at world amateurs and win European Amateur Gold. He then went on to win British, Commonwealth and World Title by the age of 25 and was only a part time boxer lol. On his achievements he deserves to be top 10 on when my list starts from but combined with talent he is worthy of number 3 spot in my humble opinion

I don't base my opinions on what other boxers say, that'd be a fairly unreliable way of doing it, compared to using my own eyes.
Think you know that a fighter putting up a better fight than another against someone much better than both of them isn't the greatest barometer of comparison. Especially when you are assuming how one would do against that guy.

Struggling to pick out what your point is from this?

Hatton,Hamed and Froch were vastly overrated and were found out when put against the best from North America. If we have them as one of our greatest boxers it's a bit embrassing as if they were American they would be deemed of non-irrevelance.Lennox Lewis and Joe Calzaghe were the top 2 from these shores and have the evidence of being able to handle the best from North America where most British Fighters have been exposed.
