NAME your all time favorite displays of ring generalship?

My favorite is Whitaker vs Haugen.

Carlos Ortiz vs Battling Torres is a masterclass. Ortiz does everything at a top level as a ring general: jabbing, footwork, feinting, in-fighting, countering etc. Just absolutely top quality stuff.

As for my personal favourite, it has to be Sanchez vs Gomez. Sanchez quickly turned the arrogance of Gomez into despair as he schooled him in every facet of the game, cajones included, completely breaking him down.

Underrated I think = Watson / Benn, not so much Generalship , but a well thought out battle plan. keep well.

I love that fight by Ortiz. My personal favorites from him are the Brown fight. Just completely undressed a legendary champion with the jab. The Laguna rubber match is a masterpiece too. He was underdog in both of those matches.

Hard to pinpoint one single performance but BHop has been one of my favorites. I think it was best on display against Tarver and during the second half of the Taylor fight when Hopkins roughed him up and turned him passive. I don't consider his performance against Pavlik a ring general performance per SE, Hopkins just had him skill wise. Pavlik actually made Hopkins look like better boxer then he really was
