For anyone doubting Greb's inclusion on this list, and inclusion very high up, take a gander at who he beat (and quite a few were multiple beatings):

    Maxie Rosenbloom
    Kid Norfolk
    Billy Miske
    Tommy Loughran
    Jimmy Delaney
    Tommy Gibbons
    Gene Tunney
    Battling Levinsky
    Jimmy Slattery

Is there another lightheavy who can list this many top quality pelts?

Thanks Brother!! Much appreciated. I'm a sucker for Contehs left hand. But Galindez is definitely the more durable

I am interested in your justification of having Tunney anywhere in a top 10 , let alone @ 3.

What did Carpentier ever do at heavyweight to make hims "pure quality"... Likewise for Gibbons at heavyweight, besides lose a title eliminator to Greb? And do you really consider Gibbons in his last fight to be "pure quality"? Or Dempsey in his last fight?

And he had twice as many wins as Lewis at heavyweight? Is this some sort of new math?

It's interesting how much Philadelphia Jack O'Brien's stock has fallen comparing old rankings to what most people post.

    Nowhere.

Fights between he whilst he was weighing in at the limit against other fighters weighing in at the limit were almost unheard of.

Head to head you can do what you like with him.

That's the issue. Head to head I would pick very few above him.
