For anyone doubting Greb's inclusion on this list, and inclusion very high up, take a gander at who he beat (and quite a few were multiple beatings):

    Maxie Rosenbloom
    Kid Norfolk
    Billy Miske
    Tommy Loughran
    Jimmy Delaney
    Tommy Gibbons
    Gene Tunney
    Battling Levinsky
    Jimmy Slattery

Is there another lightheavy who can list this many top quality pelts?

Thanks Brother!! Much appreciated. I'm a sucker for Contehs left hand. But Galindez is definitely the more durable

They never held any signficant title at Light-Heavyweight, as far as I'm aware and didn't even compete for one. While in the divisions where I have them, were them several years world champion (undisputed) and I'm not even certain if Greb ever weighted more than the Middleweight limit.

Even your guru Fleischer ranked boxers only in one weight-class, in his all time lists.

By the way I could add Eddie Mustafa Muhammed, Antonio Tarver, Robert Fitzsimmons, Joey Maxim, Jean Pasqual, Tomasz Adamek or Marvin Johnson among others.

I am interested in your justification of having Tunney anywhere in a top 10 , let alone @ 3.

He defeated in the Heavyweight Carpentier, Gibbons and Dempsey twice (not to mention Henessey). That is pure quality, while he retired as champion like Lewis, but with a superior record (had no defeats as heavyweight and two times as many wins as him) and the only one who surpassed him did he avenge several times (like most of his draws), which was an all time top 10 boxer too.

But I did publish a top 100, in the respsonsible subject for it (opened by McGrain I think) some months ago.
Though I would change some places, particular from around 60 onwards (especially the last ten), but rather the order of it there. I would have also now Quarry possible higher than Young and Shavers (perhaps over ****ell too). And 'Sailorman' Sharkey maybe ahead of Stribling and Spinks.

What did Carpentier ever do at heavyweight to make hims "pure quality"... Likewise for Gibbons at heavyweight, besides lose a title eliminator to Greb? And do you really consider Gibbons in his last fight to be "pure quality"? Or Dempsey in his last fight?

And he had twice as many wins as Lewis at heavyweight? Is this some sort of new math?
