What did Carpentier ever do at heavyweight to make hims "pure quality"... Likewise for Gibbons at heavyweight, besides lose a title eliminator to Greb? And do you really consider Gibbons in his last fight to be "pure quality"? Or Dempsey in his last fight?

And he had twice as many wins as Lewis at heavyweight? Is this some sort of new math?

 

It's interesting how much Philadelphia Jack O'Brien's stock has fallen comparing old rankings to what most people post.
