Mexico has a great legacy of boxers that dates back many decades, so Who are the 10 greatest Mexican fighters in boxing history?

    My List:
    #1. Julio Cesar Chavez
    #2. Ricardo Lopez
    #3. Salvador Sanchez
    #4. Ruben Olivares
    #5. Carlos Zarate
    #6. Marco Antonio Barrera
    #7. Erik Morales
    #8. Miguel Canto
    #9. Vincente Saldivar
    #10. Kid Azteca

Who comes close or deserves to be in the top 10 that I did not mention?

You're right. I forget that Tommy Hearns is actually Dominican. Doh! I also forgot to mention Roberto Duran and Kosta Tszyu. Although I probably would have those two just outside the "top ten".

One bad joke is forgiveable, but don't push your luck by trying to milk it!

I was actually responding to a post that was pointing out an error in my list. No, I don't think those boxers are a joke. I respect any fighter who is brave enough to step into the ring. Especially my fellow Mexican warriors. Si se puede!

I would throw Delahoya and Napoles into that list. Although not born in Mexico, they are Mexican citizens.
