I'm thinking of putting together my own top 20 and i'd be interested to see other peoples all time top 20 fighters. Not just the names but the proportion of older and newer fighters in there is what i'm looking at and although i have a rough idea for my list i would like to see where other people have the names i have down already.

I look at like this i regard robinson as the best ever la motta tuck his unbeaten record and had a 6 fight series with him, in which 3 of them could of went either way, i also rank marcel cerdan as one of europe's best ever fighters only behind jimmy wilde, la motta beat marcel for the title, also with wins over other all time greats such holman williams, loyd marshal and zivic. Plus la motta should of been champion years before he got the title, he was past his prime when he won the title just goes to show how good he was, back when there was only one title

Hearns was weight drained (and undefeated at 147), Benitez didn't train (undefeated at 147), Duran didn't train (first time he had been stopped), and Hagler was shot (coming off knocking out undefeated john Mugabi and undefeated for 11 years)
