All these fighters can be found in the World Rankings.

Some if not all have wan one or more of the four major belts.

    WBC
    WBO
    WBA
    IBF

    They are World Class.

All have staked their claim to be the best in the world.

But which one fighter from the above list has been overhyped?

Overhyped by - media, fans, promoters, etc

Which one is the most overrated?

To be fair Bradley has been hyped nowhere as near as Berto.

Before taking on Witter, Bradley was virtually unknown. Bradley won his world title against the no.2 ranked guy in the division in the champs backyard. Berto was handed his title against some Mexican and still gets more attention/hype than Bradley.

I'd vote for Enzo if he was in fact world class or if anyone rated him in the first place. But the fact of the matter is, he sucks ****. I still voted for him, though.

I can't really say any of them are overrated greatly :huh

The lesser fighters on that list don't tend to be particularly overrated in general. There might be the odd person, but in general no.

A guy like Bradley is very underrated and not talked about.

If I had to pick I'd say Froch, based on post-Pascal here he was getting great acclaim, when it was actually a better fight than performance. He wasn't that impressive. But its died down, so I can't say he's way overrated. People, you have to be rated in most quarters to be overrated.

Right now, Haye. The hype over this guy is ridiculous. He's a knockout waiting to happen at HW.

Mikkel Kessler - Not over-rated in my opinion, clearly the best super-middleweight in the world and could hand with anybody at 168 and 175. Has the tools to beat some of top guys aswell.

David Haye - Even as a fan, he is a bit over-rated. It's not a certainty he'd knock out both Klitschko's, Wlad is a 50/50 fight, Vitali he'd be up against it in my opinion, probably 60/40 in Vitali's favour. He could also struggle with some other guys such as Juan Gomez.

Kelly Pavlik - Was hugely over-rated before the predictable drubbing he received from Bernard Hopkins, has toned down a lot now, though still over-rated in places when people think he'll knock out both Winky and Abraham.

Andre Berto - I don't really think he's over-rated at all. I think he's a very good prospect, still not proven enough to be called truly world-class, but he's on the way. I don't know of anybody that has truly over-rated him on this forum. People generally seem to accept he's short of the finished article, but still a very good fighter.

Miguel Cotto - Not over-rated in the slightest. Hardly spoken about since the Margarito fight, nobody really knows how much that's taken out of him, although he is still consistently named among the top fighters, and so the generally consensus still seems to be he remains among the top fighters.

Enzo Maccarenelli - He's barely even rated by anyone except you.

Arthur Abraham - I like him, but he is a bit over-rated. He has awesome power, a great chin and tight defence, but his shots are wild and he's so ecomonical that you can see him losing a few fights based purely on work-rate.

Joe Calzaghe - Probably a bit over-rated, seems to have calmed down a bit recently. It's hard to over-rate the best fighters in the sport, and Calzaghe is most certainly in the top 3 at present. He'd probably beat anybody between 168 and 175 at the moment in fairness, though he could struggle a bit with guys like Dawson or a Hopkins rematch.

Timothy Bradley - Doesn't seem to be over-rated really. He's just a good prospect, and could possibly b a unified champion soon. I don't feel he's either under-rated or over-rated.

Carl Froch - A bit over-rated, even as a fan, but he is a good fighter who will cause problems for anybody, anybody at 168. Would lose to Kessler, possibly to guys like Taylor, Bute etc, bit still a worthwhile champion and a dangerous opponent for anybody.
