calzaghe is top 10 p4p and world class.....but also massively overated imo...has about 5 or 6 wins against fighters who i would say are truly class, and 3 of them are past prime, has shown that he can be knocked down fairly easily at this stage (people may say he is past his prime now, but seeing as he didnt really do anythng good in his prime cant really judge on that), he basically just throws a **** load of punchs, i would pick a world class outsider fighter to beat him any day

There is a major, major fail in your first post.

You said there were four major titles. Since when?

Kessler had a fight with Calzaghe and lost but that wasn't the only thing he lost he lost his confidence and mental touighness has to be questioned. He pulls out of fights with Miranda and says Dawson is too big and is content fighting in Denmark against no-hopers and guys he dwarfs in the ring. His resume isn't that great and is considered the man at 168 by default since Joe left and hasn't really done **** but win a vacant belt.

Chad Dawson is a two time title holder at 175 who's trying to fight everyone under the sun at 175 but no one wants to fight him including Calzaghe or Hopkins. If anything he's underrated.:deal

Maccarinelli. Not hyped by the most people but I spend more time on this site than any other boxing source and he's the guy I'm most sick of hearing utter fantasies about on here.

Who in the hell overates Enzo?? :patsch:lol:

From the list i'd say Froch, people saying he can knock out proven fighters such as Taylor, Kessler, Bute and even Calzaghe, when the best fighter he has fought is Pascal, who himself is a contender.

Since about the early 1990's when the WBO joined the other three as a World Title.

Since the 1990's WBO titlests have included World Class fighters like:

    Herbie Hide
    Naseem Hamed
    Oscar De La Hoya
    Ronald Wright
    Enzo Maccarenelli
    Marco Antonio Barrera
    David Haye
    Dariuz Michlenseki
    Riddick Bowe
    Chris Eubank
    Joe Calzaghe
    Steve Collins
    Lonnie Bradley
    Acelino Freitas
    etc

The fact is the WBO came along after the other 3 belts

four main belts were recongised then

    WBC
    WBA
    IBF
    WBO

this was before the rot set in and unlimited number of silly belts started being created

the WBO belongs to the four main world belts
