I def thought Martinez would win. Props to Cotto. Defending against top 5 guy Geale and then Canelo is understandable.

Then it's GGG or drop middleweight title. Simple enough.

The sad thing is that Geale is the best fighter on GGG resume lol.

He already held the lineal title for a year now, wich should mean he has to fight his mando now. Yet he doesn't and fights a guy Golovkin dispatched in 3 at a catch weight.
Then he has the nerve to say Golovkin doesn't deserve the payday while obviously his KO victim does.
Now he wants to fight Canelo next wich probably means Golovkin should wait another year before he gets his shot.
Seriously, you don't see anything wrong with that?!

He needs to act it out too. Start dragging his leg around, that might entice Mr. Cotto.

Martin Murray > Dan Geale IMO

GGG can't help who will and won't fight him. It's pretty obvious he wants to fight all the biggest names and will give them the weight/venue/any other advantage they want.

Considering his position in the division, Cotto's one year inactivity is definitely not doing him or the division any good. However, he's clearly stalling to secure the big payday against either Mayweather or Alvarez. Sure it's bad for the division, but that title and position is what makes him attractive for the biggest names. Take that away, and he's not getting the payday. If what he's doing is wrong, the WBC should make a move and strip him. He's scheduled to fight in a few days so he's safe to keep the title.

In all honesty though, with reason and logic(admittedly) pushed aside, who's held hostage in the division?. It's not like this division is showered with serious talent that are left in the wilderness as Cotto stalls and laughs. There's only one guy barking and he's barking for the payday more-so than the position and title. I can't blame him either, he's 31 and is yet to score a single career defining win.

    scar....ggg is 33

and i agree...in fact ive said the same thing here many times....hes barking for a payday and a big name scalp on his weak resume......his fans keep insisting that the lineal title is important for legacy or whatever and ggg wants it...but in means really little in the grand scheme to me personally

Nahh Murray only fame is a looss to a shot Martinez that Cotto destroyed and a close draw to Sturm a fighter that lost to Geale cleary, If you say Murray is a better win on GGG resume that's even sader. Murray for sure is a top 3 win for GGG.
