Vitali, Froch, Rios, Robert Guerrero, Provodnikov, Danny Garcia, Chavez Jr- all these guys packing some decent iron in their mandibles.

I agree that he does look quite good.

But the only two names of real note he's beaten are Guzman and M'Baye, he needs to step up the level of competition, I think a fight with Peterson would tell us how good he is.

I don't see it, he's not a massive puncher and Peterson has stood up to shots from Khan, Bradley, Holt and Ortiz, only been taken out by Matthysse, who is one of the hardest punchers p4p.

You can still put a poll, even after you've posted the OP dude.

Just click, thread tools, add poll.

Try it for this- add a poll saying which of these guys would Allakhverdiev beat (don't forget to allow mutual votes and make votes public then we can identify the trolls) and include up to ten guys at 140 such as Garcia, Matthysee, Provodnikov, Peterson, Rios, Judah, Postol, Khan, Alvarado, DeMarco and 'none of the above' :good

Isn't he just the "Regular" WBA Champion. Does that count these days?. I remember Povetkin, Maidana and Rios having the "Regular" WBA title as well.

All in the poll less the top 3 but I wouldn't rule Allakhverdiev out.

Khabib would be a huge monumental underdog against Garcia and Matthysse as well as there being no way at the moment I'd pick him over Provodnikov.

Dont know about him beating every 140 pound fighter that would be a tough task but hes definitely underrated and hes somewhat of a forgotten man at 140 but dont sleep on this guy cause given the opportunity he has what it takes to seize it and beat some of the more well known fighters in the division.

no, what's with this European bias. He barely beat a very past prime and injured version of Joan Guznman
