I give credit to any man willing to walk into the ring, but he has yet to impress me. His fight with Simms was horrible and that springboarded him into the tourney.

I was very disappointed how Green fought that fight. Practically no jabs; not trying to keep his distance and didn't fight tall using his reach advantage; very low workrate and letting Ward dictate the in-fighting.

To top it off he has excuses to justify his poor performance...

he let ward do whatever he wanted to. got bested against the ropes every encounter and still allowed it to happen.. never trying to spin him around or anything.

Barely tried to win, no jab, no distance, no plan, totally inactive. A human punching bag. His facial expression was also like a punching bag--never changed.

Green seemed like a sparring partner in there tonight, at least he didn't look at his feet.

He tried, but Wards head was in the way.

 I saw him look at them once. :yep His entire training must have been based on not looking at his feet...

Why didn't they bring Bute in instead of Green. Bute is the better fighter of the two IMO.

Two of my friends work for Goosen and they told me that Green isolated himself in his hotel after the weigh in and refused interviews.

The crazy thing is I saw him spin him around once...but instead of jumping on Ward he tried to get away. Ward was completely in his head all night...forget weight drain.
