Can Allan Green really be taken serious knowing he can't get better pay days ? He also could have fought live on ESPN for a world title...WTF !!

You can read the statement in French made by Bute's management here : http://www.rds.ca/boxe/chroniques/246991.html

Why did ESPN want Green and not Bute?

I guess they really like Green since he's been on a few times and is more known in the States than Bute !

Does anyone know what's next up for Green or at least what happened to him lately for him to drop out of Friday night's fight ?

I think the ****ed up part about all this is ESPN refused to pay more then the standard 30 000$ to make this fight happen. You would think they would be able to find some cash for a fight between their poster boy (Green) and the Ring Magazine no.3 168lbs in the world (Bute). It would have been pretty big for ESPN. I think it would have been a fight that fans want to see in the USA and the ratings would have been off the charts.

Instead they decided to show Green-Miller... which we all know never happened. I bet they are bitting their lips now.

Oh please give me a break.. Cause Butes promoters say that that means its true? Hell no.. Why would Green face Miranda one of the biggest punchers in the division but be scared to face Bute and a 100,000 pay day?

Allan Green is in the same class with Sergio Mora. Big Mouth, but can't back it up.
