I agree 100% with Green, Floyd doesnt want to fight Pacman...he was the one who said that he fights only for money etc. and when he had like 20 mil for pacman fight he choose to duck him.

Allan I have to ask you why do you keep looking down at your feet like that?

Allan's response: Because I was figuring out which shoe to kick his ass with.

This is a good summary of the situation.

I've tried looking at it from everyone's point of view and I just can't see why Mayweather should take the blame for wanting to make sure the highest grossing fight in history and for the P4P#1 is clean of any performance enhancing drugs, not only that but he was willing to meet them half way on the cut off date that both fighters wanted.

But if he goes on to fight Mosley for less money, a boxer that is thought of by many as the current #1 welterweight and someone that Roach has said he wouldn't put Manny in with at 147, then doesn't it seem strange to you that he would take an equally hard fight for a far smaller reward?

Floyd wouldnt need to give a dime if he followed the rules. Pac would still need to give blood if he followed the rules. There is the difference. 1 request will have no effect on Floyd at all provided he doesnt try to cheat, blood testing will affect Pac even when proven to be innocent. If Floyd turned dwn the penalty charge, he would be outright saying "I planned to come in overweight like I did for JMM" because he has absolutely no reason to be scared of that clause. Pac has, they will draw blood innocent or guilty.

So why did Mayweather bring this up now?

Why didn't he bring this up in his last 40 fights? Why not during the De La Hoya fight which was the biggest fight at the time?

Why didn't he petition the NSAC to change the rules, or try to change the sport while he was away?

Funny enough, this "request" came up in the middle of a negotiation.

He does not care about fair play in boxing only about himself. A lot of Mayweather fans need to wake up, you have to be pretty naive to think Floyd is doing this "for the good of boxing".

Otherwise he would use his considerable clout to get this done in boxing in the past as well as in the future. But we all know he won't push for this.
