Kind of like the O.J. phenomena where blacks said he was innocent. Based on Allen Green's comments on Pac vs. Money I bet he would say O. J. is a stone cold killer. Allan Green has no credibility. He backs out of fight's, he's afraid to fight any top level opposition. When he commented on why he felt Dirrell lost to Froch I laughed my ass off. Who's this bum trying to comment on two fighter's he would never fight.

This doesn't explain why Green spent half the fight staring at his own feet. It was bizarre. The guy has some sort of psychological problem.

Why is ANYBODY on this forum getting so mad and trashing Allan Green because most of what he said is really true when you think about it? Calling him a bum and such when he's a pro boxer who's worst opponent is better than any of us have ever been in the ring with?(assuming anyone here has been in the ring at all) Don't kill the messenger when it's the message that counts.

I don't agree with the statement that Floyd has never fought fighters who had no chance to beat him. At 130 and 135 he beat some very good contenders and future titleholders in dominant fashion(barring the hellish first Castillo fight) After the Castillo rematch and his subsequent move to 140 lbs, THAT is when Floyd's williness to fight the best left him. Bruseles, Corley, and Gatti are good wins at 140 but not great wins seeing that they weren't the best in the division(Tszyu, Hatton, Cotto, hell even Witter would have been passable) After leaving 140 the only natural welterweight he fought was Baldomir, who had no chance of beating Floyd because Floyd would never be stupid enough to stand in front of him(look what happened to Gatti)

I don't discredit his entire career by any means but it doesn't hold nearly as much water as his boasts claim after he left 135. He has the chance to cement his legacy in what is arguably the sport's most illustrious division that was inhabited by legends who gained that status by taking on the best. He has fought none of the best fighters at the weight and that is just the cold hard straight truth with no chaser or mixer. Hopefully for the sake of his legacy and for all the true fight fans he does agree to fight the greatest threats.

Hiding behind the man's(Floyd's) nuts will obstruct your vision to see this simple fact. There is baseless hating, and then there are the facts. Try not to confuse the two.

Good post. I could try to turn pro boxer tommorrow. go on to win only 4 out of 12 fights , lol . The thing would be , that I dont think I would feel ashamed to have a sub .500 roecord like that.

I would feel brave and strong despite the losing. It would be somethign that i felt I achieved . In a sport where only one can win...
