1) Is he a southpaw? 2) Is he good? Answer yes to those questions, and you've got someone who will beat Green. Chad would school him.
I was wondering why he wanted to fight Dawson when he just ducked Bute didn't he? After calling him out ringside? Or did I miss something again, as usual.
Not a chance ... Allan Green is all talk ... I think if he gets past Lucian Bute then it should be set up for him to move up in weight to fight Chad Dawson ... Dawson shouldn't have to move down ...
Last I heard Green changed his mind and said he wants Froch because it's an easier fight. I rarely agree with anything Green says, but even a blind chicken finds a kernel of corn now and then.
Wouldn't that be like stating publicly you DON'T want to fight the best? Ever since P2K painted that big red R on his left show and the big blue L on his right shoe he has seem confused. :deal
Do not underestimate Green. He can punch and does have skills. That said, he would never be able to knockout Dawson in six rounds or less.
Allan Green has fought at 175 pounds in the past and has to trim down to make 168 although he can make it comfortably. If Dawsons smart he should try to get Green to fight him at 175 lbs for his 2 belts. Is this a possibility, and should it happen that way or should Dawson go down to 168 lbs?
I see Green want to copy miranda. Only way he beats Chad is if Chad's body gets messed up moving down a weight class.
Maybe that's why he can't find the dotted line for all these title fights he's asking for and not signing.
Green hasn't shown anything to be in the ring with any top 5 fighter. Green has mouth like Miranda, but has shown less.
Who knows if a Dawson-Green fight will come off, a better question is will Allan Green ever be a world champion? Maybe a beltholder under the right circumstances but he's not beating Dawson, he should've been able to beat Miranda but he just got bullied around the ring.
i think it would be a good fight Dawson aint to invincable. thing is Green actually a good student of the game . he just looks at his feet to much
