give me a break. green is solid. maybe not world championship calibre, but definately a legitimate contender.

i think he could have easily beaten miranda had he not been so tentative.

Yeah that's the problem. A very big problem because it's all in the "brain".

And Green stops Woods in the 1rst after knocking him down once a few seconds into the fight. Good showing for Allan. That's what you have to do against a low caliber opponent: Avoid going rounds with him.

So what the hell was Green's mystery illness?

I thought it was a somewhat premature stoppage, but I understand where it came from. I think with Woods' tendency of being somewhat wobbly early on, from what I've seen, the ref should have been more lenient.

Especially with Green's somewhat shaky chin himself. Oh well. It was Allen's hometown and his night, at least he's back. I thought it was premature as a virgin's first time, considering Woods had been wobbled by Miller in the first but came back to win.

I think the stoppage was right on time. Woods was not fighting back anymore and had taken like a dozen or so of very hard shots in less than half a round. In no way he was going to finish the round, so letting him take another dozen of punches while almost defenseless was pretty much pointless. A good call IMHO.

Some kind of colon disorder where he can't digest food properly. It's the kind of thing that will never go away entirely, so he'll always have that excuse.

Yeah it was a good stoppage. He wasn't fighting back at all he was more hurt this time than he was with Miller.
