Please Ward would have dominated Taylor. I have been in and around boxing for over 30 years and every time I hear you say this I just cant understand what your talking about. Taylor does nothing special that would cause Ward great problems. Taylor was actaully being outboxed by AA in there fight, and if AA could outbox him Ward would do it triple times.. Funny thing is many of you Ward Haters and that is what you are, were saying before that Green could beat Ward, now that Ward dominated him its because Green sucked and Ward was lucky to fight him. Way I see it was that AA was the luckiest guy in the super-six because he got Taylor and didnt get Ward or eles he would be looking at needing a win over Froch to keep from going winless. You cats make excuse after excuse as to why Ward is walking though the super-six having barely lost a round, forgetting the fact that he beat the favorite in the first round
Point blank. I wasn't understanding why some people thought he had a chance. He was overmatched and it showed.
I honestly feel sorry watching anyone who doesn't belong in the ring with his opponent unless they're Glen Johnson tough. I think everyone prefers a competitive fight rather than a one-sided beat down. I don't like Jeff Lacy but I feel for him everytime I re-watch Calzaghe vs. Lacy, Taylor vs. Lacy, or Jones vs. Lacy.
He looked scared and he got bullied around the ring all night by a smaller, weaker punching man. He failed in every single regard to dictate this fight on his own terms. I thought it was a bad performance on his part on every regard, and he looked bad out there.
Not everyone who fights is a world class talent. Green is a good fighter but not elite. I found their fight a little boring though.
Has everyone already forgotten the multiple posts before the fight about "having a feeling" that Green would upset Ward?
