Would love to see this happen. I think both need a fight like this. Winner gets back into the title picture. Miranda was down first but Green barely survived the final round and was down twice. He makes excuses for the loss blaming it on his colon. If these guys are brave enough to rematch eacother maybe they could call it no excuses.
Its not a matter of being brave but who wants to see this fight? do the networks want it? do the fans want it? I personally would want to see it again because the first one was a lot of fun. Pantera can't be in a bad fight..even when he loses he comes to fight.
That is the plan. I am hoping Green can pull off the win. It would put him on top of the 168lbs picture. He wants a rematch with Pantera badly and this win would be a perfect way to make it a reality. I am not sure how sick Green was, but regardless, I would love to see a rematch too just to put that behind him.
There was a problem with his colon- Miranda was beating it all night prior to handing it back to him.
Rock Green put Miranda on his butt. I think Taylor beats either guy but could see a mild upset if Green or Miranda defeated them.
I could see it because I still don't know which Jermain would show up on any given night and they're both dangerous enough fighters to take advantage of it if Taylor's not 100% focused. If Jermain's on, I think he's a cut above skillwise and so would make him the favorite against either, though. I also don't hate Green, it was just too good a joke to pass up.
It was pretty funny. Green is finally back fighting again but he beat a ring worn blown up Super Middleweight. I was disappointed when he didn't fight that one scheduled fight. I was also dissapointed with Greens cornermen in the Miranda fight. Lennox Lewis was saying that if he was in the corner he would tell him the same things I was thinking while I waS WATCHING THE FIGHT. (dOUBLE jAB AND hOOK OFF THE JAB.) Green fought scared most of the fight. Both fighters are making excuses for their losses. Green with his Colon and Miranda blaming his problems on the weight. If they did fight again at 168 they could name the rematch "No excuses"
By top I did not mean #1. He becomes a 'one of the top fighters' at 168lbs. I consider Calzaghe #1 (if he decides to ever fight 168 again), after that you have (not necessarily in order) Kessler, Taylor, Bute, Froch and Inkin. If Green beats Taylor you can put him in there and take out Taylor.
Well, Inkin is now below my squirrel Balszay isn't he? Sorry, couldn't resist the pun. Not a bad 'random' order though.
