Green was never stopped before for real (agaisnt Johnson he was up and fairly ready - tough love from the ref there..) but this was Green's first time to taste the medicine he gave Codrington.

Couldnt find a video of the Kessler knock down but I saw it live and Kessler just looked slow at first but picked up the pace later on. I think it was mainly ring rust as this was his first fight in 11 months

He could've avoided all that if he would've kept his damn hand up. Dropped his right hand when he tried to throw his own hook.

Kessler had perfect timing on that shot. Truly awesome.

 

I kind of expected Green to get KO'd. He hasn't been all the way there since his losses to Ward and Johnson. Damn!
