Seriously! In his brief spots on ESPN tonight, Green offered more insightful comments than boneheads like Steward, Foreman, and particularly that punk Kellerman. And unlike alot of athletes, he even seems to know a little bit of the history of his sport. I was very impressed.

If he chooses, I think he'd have a great future as a boxing commentator. Usually I learn NOTHING from these guys - but Green's comments about different kinds of punchers really got me to thinking. The guy clearly THINKS about the sport as well as is involved in it.

    What do others think??

He's clean cut, speaks well, and insightful. I thought he did very well. He definitely has a career as an analyst after his boxing days are over.

I totally agree, i much rather see him in the booth commentating than in the ring fighting.

I never liked Allan Green as a fighter and I can't wait to see him lose again, but I have to admit that his commentary today and in the past has always been great and better than almost any fighter I've ever heard. Someone like Lennox can't even be compared to him and he's on HBO! :patsch
