He's lost in space...He declined more than one chance at a world title up to now and he seems to believe he deserves always more money than what offered to him, but he keeps fighting for peanuts when he does...go figure...
He is languishing as one of the Greg Peon advised fighters. I believe he was offered something like 500,000 to fight Pavlik and then demanded something like 1 million and then 700,000 and finally 550,000. Green is a decent fighter, but he needs to be more active and not pass up good offers like that.
Exactly. He's got some talent and could easily have beaten a couple B/C level fighters to keep his name out there while he was trying to secure a bigger money fight. As it is, he's let nine months go by since his win over Rubin Williams without doing anything. Turning down the Pavlik offer was a huge mistake.
green never passed up the pavlik fight he new nothing about it. arum contacted (blankety blank lawyer)green advisor cannot remember the name with an offer of around $400k to face pavlik. greg leon wanted in on the act and demanded more money from arum . arum then basically told leon he was a mickey mouse newbie and hanged up and that was the end of the offer and green never even new what went on in his name until after. it was not green`s fault and green did not turn down pavlik.
Thanks for that info. If that's correct, Green isn't as much as fault as I thought, but if he's still letting Leon represent him, it sounds like he's making a mistake.
He's still trying to figure out why he looks down at his feet so much ... and why he has no right hand.
Wasted talent. I remember hearing the boxing 4 real gays picking Green to beat Calzaghe be fore he was beat by Mirander.
