If Allen is to fight on, he shouldn't be looking anywhere near Dubois who would take his head off early. A much safer fight would be Gorman who doesn't hit very hard. Allen would provide a big British name for Gorman's comeback and he would easily outbox the Doncaster man. It'd be a nice little stocking filler on a Saturday fight night and I'd like to see Frank Warren make it, as I believe Allen isn't under any sort of matchroom contract.
Gorman would box his ears off, Price all over again. I've been thinking about the prospect of this fight for a while and I'd love for it to happen, either this or Kamil boosting his rep with a points win over the Insta Fighter.
I'm still out of Gorman. People knock Frank but he promoted him unbelievably well to create a legit win for Dubois. Can't help but think I was suckered into it. Should still beat Allen though right?
That's the most likely result. Although I wouldn't rule out Allen being pulled out late in the fight.
He should beat Allen easily. Ideal for a comeback fight or a fight after trouncing some random BoxRec stooge
Gorman would seriously hurt Allen and probably knock him out. Gorman is a lot better than some of you think he is.
Should happen but won’t happen. Allen knows he’s on a hiding to nothing. He’s out to the highest bidder which sadly won’t be Gorman.
I havnt heard much of Gorman since the Dubois fight. I do rate Nathan and I think he hadnt realised how much ddd had progressed since their am days. Let's hope he's back shortly, I'd like to see him in with Dave.
I was told that Gorman was the best British prospect, that he was supremely skilled and would "box Dubois head off" "Too stiff" they shouted Well Germans knees went stiff as soon as he felt Dubois power. I don't know who I would pick out of him and Allen. I see Dubois as the new Hughie Fury, we are going to have to hear how skilled he is until he takes a few more losses yet.
That's a strange comparison, two very different styles, Dubois does what heavyweights should do, he goes out looking for a stoppage.
