    Its a shame that he isnt involved.

    I read and article at "...boxing" and tend to agree about him not being invited...

    I understand that Taylor has the bigger name etc and isn't a bad inclusion but it is a shame that Green isn't involved. I like his fights....he comes to fight.

    I think Green would KTF outta Taylor,,,,

    The reason he is not in the tournament is because:
    1: He is not that big of a name.
    2: He lost clearly to Edison Miranda

    Allen Green should have been in the tournament over all the MWs moving up, such as AA and JT.

    Technically Green lost to Miranda at a catchweight, not SMW, and Miranda lost to AA at a catchweight as well. That is if you want to be technical.

    Alan Green was outclassed and almost stoped by the one sided fighter Edison Miranda.

    Yeah, ignore the fact the man had to get 80% of his intestine removed, and it is a testament to him that he lasted the who fight and scored a knockdown.

    I think the #1 reason Green is not involved is because he is a ***** to negotiate with, and has pulled out of talks several times. The guy has pulled out of so many big fights, I can't even remember all the names.

    Green lost to Miranda, he was almost KO'd and was saved because it was only a 10 round fight, his credentials are not up to par with the rest of the guys.

    No, SMW fights have weight limits of 168, not 166 or 162. The same way 144 or 142 are WW fights.

    Just being technical though.
