The main concern Hatton should have had after the last fight was his diminished punch resistance. Lazcano hurt him more than once with punches that weren't the most powerful looking. However, Malinaggi doesn't have any power in his punches at all. If he does manage to hurt or buzz Hatton then Ricky will have to have a drastic rethink as to his plans for the future

I'm thinking so to Stuey. Doubt I'll enjoy watching it but then I never really have with Hatton's fights lots of tangled arms.

No problems whatsoever here for Hatton, will be as easy as he wants to make it. He's fighting the most overrated fighter in existence.

I think he may get made to look a bit of a mug on occasion for the first few rounds but after that it should be a walk down job for a UD or late stopge.

Hatton will win and win easily Paulie doesnt hit hard enough so he wont be able to get Hatton to stay on the outside.

Hatton will walk through Paulie punches and will batter from the inside

    Hatton late TKO

Paulie has no chance of wining this fight.

I don't think this fight is interesting in the slightest either.

Hatton wide on points or late TKO.

I don't know what people are seeing in Paulie lately for them to think that he can even come close to beating Hatton.

If he breaks his hand again as well then god help him.

i see another Calzaghe Vs Lacy, with Hatton being Lacy! Too much speed, hitting hatton with 400 punches, the ref will stop the fight, hatton finished. all this 'new' fighting style for hatton doesn't convince. A fighter at the tail-end of his career as hatton surely is, trying to adopt new moves is a recipe for disaster. I think hatton's out in round 10 TKO.

What new fighting style? Both the trainer and fighter have said they trying to tweak a few things rather than make wholesale changes. Paulie doesn't not have the legs (despite the 'master boxer' tag some people put on him) or the punch to beat Hatton. He has very good handspeed but what good that with Hatton with his head on his chest hurting his body?

well, the 'new' style [i was careful to put in marks] is all their talk of tweaking, and with all respect to hatton, tweaking to work on defense is something that should have been done prior to every contest. Making statements that hatton's defense is now being 'tweaked' and working on speed etc., smacks of an acceptance that no longer can they get away with what has made Hatton successful in the past. i feel this alone ensures that Hatton gets stopped late, after fatigue sets in, and he forgets his new tweaking, opting to brawl it out, and being heavily-countered.

He's got a new trainer who will have new ideas on how certain thinks should be done and maybe the Hatton-Graham relationship had gotten at little stale and Hatton got a little "lazy" in his boxing. Any differences in style will be minor.

I'd don't want to sound condesending about have you seen Paulie fight? He fights in the middle distance, doesn't have great mobility and hasn't stopped an opponent in years, hows he going to stop Hatton closing the distance to get his punches off?

The Malignaggi that won the IBF title in the first place beats the Hatton that struggled with Lazcano.

Hatton is in decline, he has looked good in 1 in half a dozen fights, Paulie is catching him at the right time.

Alot of people are going on about PMs power, I think that ridiculous, he doesnt have to win by KO. He only has to win 7 rounds to win a 12 round bout, PM is definately good enough to do that. Also Rickys hasnt been badly cut in a while, he could be due one...:hey

Put ya money on Malignaggi via decision.:good

Hatton isn't the fighter his was in 2005 but he's not shot and he's should easily have enough left in the tank to take care of Paulie who hasn't looked good himself in quite a while and didn't even look too hot before that.
