Agreed with all of your points. Especially with Liston whom I put in a special class with Tyson of what could've been.

Based strictly upon his run up to a Title shot, his talents and strengths, Liston is top 10. However, with his abyssmal showings against Ali, Liston is not near top 10.

on what is you're list based ?? achievements or H2H or a combo of those things or something else ??
i mean first of all the guy is called ali not clay but hey. what i wonder is even if you're not a fan of ali rating him outside a top three spot is ridicilous. name me one HW champ who fougth tougher or better opponents then ali did ??

You are entitled to your opinion. Im not bitching since most of us would name 90% of those names (just in a different order) but I just cant see why riddick bowe is over anyone on that list or what dokes and witherspoon ever did to get on it.

So, let me understand.... Jack Johnson gets whacked by a light heavy, KD'd by a middle, held to a draw by a featherfisted light heavy, held to a very disputed draw by a sparring partner and loses to crude cowboy AND he is better than Lennox Lewis who fought in the era of the greatest depth of power punchers the division has known and beat every man he faced.

    Great list.
