    Who you got?

Zamora was that kind of puncher, you know, the kind you don't like to pick against...then Becarra, tough, smart, patient but was knocked out, sometimes unexpectedly. If you were put to it, who's your choice?

Oh my poor little head, it hurts, it does. Go away witch!

I think Zamora is underrated actually and not the one note banger some people think. A better fighter than Zarate made him look. Becerra really impressed me in the second Halimi fight, a clever, well schooled fighter in the typical Mexican mould with a formidable offensive arsenal and very good power. The shock loss to Eloy Sanchez is a worry when putting him up against an awkward, dynamic bomber like Zamora. Then again, Becerra could punch hard himself, as mentioned, and Zamora could be got to. Becerra went 30 rounds against young Medel too, who was just as brutal as Zamora when on point and a fair bit craftier.

I'm leaning towards Becerra's better form and more patient, cagier approach, but Zamora is dangerous as all ****. I dunno man, it huuuurts....

Have you seen Point Break? You know that bit where Bodhi and Keanu Reeves are talking on the beach at the end. Reeves tells him something like "ran into a piece of meat that turend out to be Rosie...picked a knife fight with somebody better." That's kind of how I think about Zamora-Zarate.

    That's a great, great performance.

Horrible fight to make a pick in, really.

I can't believe I've never seen Point Break but that I've watched Reevesy boy in Dracula and Shakespeare playing it like Bill and Ted.

Becerra is sort of like, part-Medel, part-Olivares in style to me. Great left hook thrown similar to Ruben but maybe not quite as heavy. Or like he was stabbing somebody in prison, which is how Olivares threw that hook to the ribs.

Actually, I was thinking the other day about Zamora vs Pimentel as things go. My little lad hit me in the bollocks with his wooden mallet though, so the train of thought got derailed fairly sharpish.

I'm sure Zamora was rated the P4P number 1 fighter going into the Zarate fight.

I'm of the belief that he actually was a great talent, just not as great as Zarate.

Post Zarate hints strongly that he wasn't but I'm sticking with my gut here.

With that said I didn't even hesitate in picking him over Becerra.
