Was planning to watch the fight, but went to SD for a picnic with my son instead, before going back to SF.

Been fun reading IB RBR tho.

It was one of the rare occasions I watched a UFC fight. I don't know **** about UFC so I won't comment the quality of the fight. What amazed me was that the fans of this sport are complete and utter ****s in general. They were booing everyone and everything including the post fight interviews.

Almost everyone there cheered for Donaire. He's got a bunch of Latino fans and they even outnumbered the Filipino fans.

Just like Golden Boy pretends Khan is a huge draw in the States, so too does Top Rank act like Donaire has a huge fan base. Both are merely potential, or more accurately, "theoretical" draws. Of course this makes it all the more hilarious when Donaire whines that Rigondeaux has no fan base.

Yes, and I would look like Donaire while you would be Mathebula.

And I didn't snitch you out. Your racist ass exposed yourself. :yep

In the U.S., historically you have to be a welterweight or bigger to get mass attention. The lower weight divisions depend mainly on the Latino fanbase and more recently Filipinos.

If you were Rigo, you'd put me to sleep not by KO, but by boring boxing style.

    The announced attendance was 3,200.

Top Rank needs to learn how to give away tickets like Golden Boy. Over 5,000 comps in the Tarver/Quillin/Trout fights.
