the story is they were talking to brooks promoter who works with eubank...and hearn called brook and asked him...since hearn was desperate .......

and ggg was the b-side against brook...that's why he traveled to meet brook.....so naturally it would be brook and his people presenting the fight......in a lara/ggg situation it would have to be golovkins people approaching laras....this is just basic stuff that intelligent boxing fans understand and realize...I know you aren't cut out of this.....bumdog apologist

That means nothing, he doesn't draw enough figures himself, and if he did, he's usually carried by a better known fighter. He himself remains boxing's biggest farce (in the ring).

No. Brook called out GGG at 154. Then Loefler responded. They don't respond to Lara.
Lara made the moves. The ball is in K2s court now. Its their move. That how these things work.

Alvarez fought Khan on HBO. Khan is Showtime under Haymon. Any more excuses?

again...you make no point at all

all I said was lara has more headlining exposure on premium and regular cable then any of gggs opponents....try to debunk that with facts...that's the statement I made.....I don't care how or why he was on tv...who he was fighting....who "carried" him.....try to stick to my statement and debunk it without trying to change my statement into your own words

you wont and you cant......because what I said does mean something...it means lara is a very solid opponent for ggg .....

Oh, I see where you're getting at. On that basis I would agree. There's a problem, Lara still doesn't have enough notoriety despite any of this and thus the effective demand is not there.

No, I'm not implying that he intentionally seeks out the hardest matches possible in boxing, but rather that it doesn't make sense for him to actively avoid a guy that, on all appearances, he could defeat. Lara doesn't seem like a world beater. I don't even understand where this myth comes from. It doesn't reflect in his fights and he doesn't even have the popularity to skew his perception.

I covered this point already I thought

Lara is a top 20 P4P level fighter. No boxing fan would not want to watch that fight.
NOBODY wanted to watch GGG beat on a 147 pounder.

Then there's no reason why he shouldn't fight him. GGG would win , but it wouldn't be easy. His fight with 154 pounder Ouma proves that.
He eat lead left hands for free in that fight. He doesn't want those shots landed on his face by Lara. There's a high possibility his face gets bashed up in obtaining the win.
Basically he doesn't what the challenge. Thats an issue when he claims nobody wants to fight him.

Lara isn't a guy that bashes you up. Golovkin is very durable. He'd tag him, but he'd succumb to the pressure. I really don't like doing hypotheticals/predictions for fights that may not ever occur but with how good GGG is at breaking you down and cutting the ring off I don't see any other way that fight goes.

The last guy to walk Lara down ended up looking like the elephant man.

GGG has no head movement and is there to be hit.

Boxing is a job. There is no money in a Lara fight. The Brook fight got him his highest pay to date.

I guess he should retire then , cos he never getting that pay day again. :smash2:

Unless he fights Canelo. But Canelo isn't going near him for another 1 -2 year. By then GGG will get his ass chopped up. :elboinas:

Lara could first make sure he can fight on HBO card, he is serious opponent by fighting someone in the meantime and made offering deal to K2. Again, don“t make this a Trump campaigne and stick to reality - he needs to do more than calling him on twitter.
