Expect to see Roy land some good bombs on Calzaghe throughout the fight but Joe will simply be too active and even though he will punch a whole lot of glove Roy just won't do it enough to have a chance of winning it.

Like I said, stamina. All that smothering and stuff would never work against a prime Hopkins. He wouldnt have even been able to get close enough to Hopkins.

Roy is naturally bigger and stronger than Calzaghe, better counter puncher, and still has the speed. When properly motivated, I still believe he's capable of a great performance. He also has the skills and experience to exploit some of Calzaghe's weaknesses. Calzaghe looked bad against Hopkins when it came to landing solid punches and I don't know what he'll be able to land on Roy Jones. I believe Roy has a good chance to beat him but it won't be easy.

I think its all about how Roys stamina is on fight night. If hes trained very hard and has superb stamina, Jones definetely wins this fight. It all relies on stamina

I never hid the fact I don't like his fighting style one bit. :good

But it's his fanatic fans I really dislike. :(

A year ago, Clazaghe would have blown Jones out, but I think Calzaghe lost a step due to age, and this gives Jones who has also lost a step a chance.

Calzaghe losing a bit of speed and quickness is the main reason I'd give Roy Jones a chance. This was not an option in the poll.

I think Clazgahe wins on points, but it will be close.

It all comes down to how Roy trains. Unless I was able to see him during training, you gotta wait til fight night and see. And its fair that Calzaghe is favored. But if Roy has great stamina, tha 0 has to go

Okay, but lets talk about both men in their prime, Roy would've KO'd Calzaghe or else put on a boxing clinic against him.

Very true. Hopefully Roy took stamina training seriously because we all know that Calzaghe does.

Yeah, have you seen that 24/7 clip where he's throwing an average of 9 punches per sec? He's standing there slapping the bad, I hope he does try to do that against Roy.

For Jones what does he have to lose ? I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up out working Calzaghe !
