Alot of shoe shining and lack of defense from Khan last night.

Lets not focus on what Khan did well. Lets focus on the mistakes he made, and where he went wrong shall we? "OMFG! Khan has a cheeeeen!" is stupid and silly anyway. There is no medical proof about the ability to take a punch. Most likely as Roach said Khan was draining himself which causes there to be less fluid thus less protection around the brain. ala his chin issues.

    HOWEVER

Unless Khan develops a good defense, his reign will be over before it even started. He is decent at slipping punches he sees coming, trouble is he doesnt see every punch coming, there were plenty of times where he got caught stupid by right hands from Maidana, and he was extremely fortunate to not be knocked out, because it doesnt matter how good your chin is every punch has a chance of completely knocking you senseless, see Williams vs Martinez.

Also, Khan needs to learn how to fight on the inside. Its all well in good boxing on the outside, but there is going to come a time when the guy he's fighting not going to get discourage, and all that dancing will take a toll on any fighter and hes going to have to learn to fight off the ropes and on the inside. Thats how Mayweather beat the likes of Castillo and Hatton. You arent going to be able to out speed everyone.

The pitty pat stuff he was throwing at Maidana looked pretty, scored points, but he wasnt sitting down on his punches and because of that Maidana wasnt fazed and he just grew in confidence. When he was sitting down on his punches he was hurting Maidana and backing him up hurting him visibly, the stuff he was throwing later was alot like the stuff Cotto was hitting Margarito with, nothing that does any sort of damage and only seemed to tire him out more.

All in all it was a decent performance, but all in all Khan doesnt want to be a decent fighter does he?

He'll be fine.....he's only 24. Still young and improving. Khan 2 yrs ago and even a 1 yr ago wouldn't have been able to survive Miadana. And he's "D" wasn't really bad until he got hurt and was in survival mode. A lot of his defensive flaws came from inexperinece so this fight was not only neccessary but also a confidence booster. he does need work but he's with one of the best trainers in the world so he should be alright.

If Devon Alexander had produced the exact same performance vs Maidana, you'd have wanked yourself off till every drop of fluid in your body had departed via your biased little *****. :deal

Khan is by far the best at 140 and his only challenges will be in years to come. He's not perfect yet but the likes of Bradley and Alexander stand very little chance despite his flaws. I'm sure those will have been ironed out by the time he faces a capable opponent.

I started last night's fight hoping Khan would get knocked out. His performance made me a believer. I think the only person with a chance is Ortiz because of his size. Khan would slap Bradley and Alexander around, I think.

My ***** is huge, im a black American, and if Alexander was being beaten around the ring by Maidana and getting caught with jabs by Maidana I'd say the same thing. More worried actually because Khan is more talented and a better trainer to correct those mistakes.

Nonsense. What about his performance made you a believer? His ability to take a punch or the fact that he was taking so many punches? The fact that he was taking so many punches is more of a concern.

Bradley is just as relentless as Maidana, 10 times the boxing ability.

Before last night I was sure Khan is the best, now im not so sure. Ortiz looked terrible and he might be the 5th best in the world right now behind the rest.

He was very hittable last night, Bradley is smart, accurate and has excellent stamina. IMHO opinion he will give khan some problems. I still think khan will win a decision against him but to give Bradley very little chance does him a disservice really, especially if Tim is allowed to work inside. Just my 2 cents there

Khan doesn't have trouble with boxing ability. He has trouble with power, and Bradley has 1/10 of Maidana's power.

We havent seen Khan in the ring with anyone half of the boxing ability, stamina and relentlessness of Bradley.

Maidana's power had nothing to do with Khan getting caught by jabs and looping right hands.

Nor is that shoe shining going to look as good against a fighter who can actually move out the way of punches.

Not sure why Kahn is getting all this hate. You would think he's on top already. usually the number one p4p guys are the only one that gets this much hate. He's just on his testing himself phase of his career.
