certainly there's a lot of improvement to be made with regards to Khan's footwork and defense but the future certainly looks bright for him, he has proved his heart in his last fight and I think he's very coachable and his trainer is certainly top-notch

Maidana was the toughest fight for Khan of the lot and he won clearly. He took the last three rounds off because he was against a puncher, but in all the rounds he was busy in, he lost maybe one. The only reason it was close, is because they knew how strong Maidana was and once he'd got the win, by winning 7 rounds, it was ok for him to just last the distance and not be stupid, try to further punish Maidana and end up getting caught.

And like I said, Maidana was always going to present the biggest problem for Khan. He may have been the fourth best light welter, but it's undeniable that he was the toughest fight stylistically because of the constant pressure, his great chin and incredible punch. With Roach in his corner, Khan will be very hard to outbox and neither Alexander or Bradley are good enough, so the only other way he's realistically going to lose, is against a puncher. Maidana was the biggest puncher and biggest threat. We've seen what Khan will do to boxers like Malignaggi and Kotelnik, both of whom are better boxers than Alexander, and Bradley isn't much better. Whether he's a better boxer than Kotelnik would be debatable, so it's clear that there is nobody good enough to outbox Khan at the weight.

Bradley would be the toughest fight, yeah, but he'd still get beaten. If it's closer than 9-3, I'd be surprised. Alexander has proven he's not world class and I can't imagine he ever will be. Khan shuts him out before stopping him.

The only fight tougher than Bradley is Ortiz though, I think. That could be awkward but Khan would win, I'm sure. I do think ortiz is better than Bradley and Alexander but after the recent draw, it's looking like he won't get a chance to prove that for a while.

The guy who presents the biggest challenge for Khan has never been Maidana. It's Ortiz. Fast, skilled, powerful guy who rehydrates in the ring to 156? That's a package that spells bad things for Khan. Bradley will give a good bout as well because of his inside game. I think a good clinch n' maul spoiler would give Khan some issues. The only problem Bradley has is his featherfists. You need good power to throw Khan off his game and without some pop or finishing ability you can't expect to beat him, IMO.

Khan from 12 months ago could never have withstood to a guy like Maidana, so the improvement is there. It's not gonna be overnight, it's a work in progress.

Khan is now 25, and still the same fighter. There will be no improvements. He is what he is now.

Good call - no inside game + lack of power to keep and opponent off = trouble against pressure fighters

Khan needs to stop fighting like a Mexican ..He reminds me of Eric Morales when he gets hit ..He needs to fight more like a Tommy Hearns ..

I thought Khan could have earned a decision, but he's grossly overrated by UK nuthuggers like DDDDUDDDEEE, Jack et al.

Either way, Khan--the so-called second coming-- has his hands full against a B quality opponent. Period.
