    Im really surprised as to how many times ive seen Rocky Marciano in the top 5 of a 20. Not because im not a fan I love the guy but after being on this forum for a year and a half ive never come across him getting that much credit...

    The thing about Homes though is you came to expect it from him. A really accurate and very funny quote about him YouTube Eddie Murphy doin Larry Holmes...its pure gold!!

    Historically, I always loved Joe Louis. But as far as fighters I grew up watching in their prime, I have two. And they are unusual I guess.

    Michael Nunn
    Orlin Norris

    And another I liked whose career ended prematurely was Harold "The Shadow" Knight.

    Watched all those guys on TV in my teens. Saw them progress. Both Norris and Nunn were incredible defensive fighters.
