Seems to me like the IBF and WBO seem to be less nonsense.
IBF for me. WBO is in Top rank's pocket.
IBF are the least worst.
We Be Atrocious are the worst with their ridiculous Regular poundland belt nonsense.
We be Comedians are close second worst with their blantant corruption , changing rules to support their favourite fighters and now their Franchise belt.
And then there's the aptly named Warren Boxing Organisation. Good example being how Billy Joe Sinus, a Fwank fighter at the time, was given a WBO belt for beating a complete nobody.
The IBF. They follow their rules better than the others but we must not forget that is due to them being under federal investigation years ago.
The WBC are obviously in bed with their own kind, Mexicans. Their insistence on adding yet another class so they can line their filthy pockets reeks, as well. The WBA play slap-ass with Hearn and are the worst example of title proliferation, though the WBC are a very close second. The WBO, as has been noted, have a hard-on for Bob Arum, European fighters, Warren, and others. They are all crap, however, worthy of the trash bin.
I would have to say the IBF but trust me it’s not by choice.. They admitted in Federal Court to taking bribes from Bob Arum for favorable rankings. They were fined and very close to losing its status as a major sanctioning body.
This brings to question was Al Haymon right after all when he wanted to abandon all the belts when they first launched PBC? I remember all the hate he got for it online and from the boxing media. Now it comes full circle now that guys are tired of paying those title fee's during the pandemic where some guys didn't make squat.
IBF without doubt. They have no problem is stripping even great champions that want to make good fights instead of a crappy mando.
There needs to be some incentive to make cross-promotion fights. It's rare enough as is and I don't know of any division where all the quality is with one promoter.
Which one is the one that had dead guys still atop their rankings?
I’d pick that one.
Larry Holmes favorite governing body is the best these days
The IBF? These are the current top rated contenders in the IBF Ratings:
* The top rated IBF Heavyweight contender is Charles Martin.
* The top rated IBF Cruiserweight contender is Jaie Opetaia.
* The top rated IBF Light Heavyweight contender is Meng Fanlong.
* The top rated IBF Super Middleweight contender is Caleb Truax.
* The top rated IBF Middleweight contender is Patrick Wojcicki.
* The top rated IBF Super Welterweight contender is Bakhram Murtzazaliev.
* The top rated IBF Welterweight contender is Kudratillo Abduqaxorov.
* The top rated IBF Super Lightweight contender is Liam Paro.
* The top rated IBF Lightweight contender is George Kambosis Jr.

I actually follow boxing. And I can tell you this list is not a good representation of the who the top contender is in ANY of those divisions.
All we talk about is boxing on this board, and the only guys on that list I've seen mentioned in any discussion recently were Martin and Truax, and it wasn't because people thought they were AWESOME. (LOL)
The IBF is nonsense.
They do seem to not partake in as much BS as others the last few years
I think the OP was more aimed at that angle
Im guessing your a WBC guy?
No, I think they are all pretty bad. But c'mon. They don't even rate 10 guys in their top 10s, because they won't rate you at the top unless you agree to pay a fee for an eliminator and most people won't do it, so they leave those spots open until they get two takers.
Their ratings have been the worst for many years.
The worst one is always the most broke one. Whichever one is struggling the most for cash is the most irresponsible. Look at how desperate the WBC were around the time they were sued out of existence.
It's not a fixed environment. It just depends upon which divot doesn't have enough quarters for the toll booth. That is the worst one.
The least worst one is the most flush, ie, the one that has stolen the most money from fighters. So the BEST one is always the worst one.
Probably because the guys that actually follow the guidelines are in the rankings. In the past 20 years the top guys like Mayweather, Pacquiao, Canelo, etc have not remotely tried to hold the IBF title or fight it's champions because they would be subject to follow rules that they damn well don't want to. All 3 guys I named have been in some form of PED accusation or scandal too just to throw that in there about IBF's rankings.
