Alphabet Title Nonsense: "the most prestigious green belt"

Where the hell did this ridiculous piece of absurdity come from? I've been following boxing for many years, going back to when there were only two of the these organizations, the WBA and the WBC. Now there are four that are considered "major" titles. The WBA is the oldest of them, so if any were to be deemed more "prestigious" that would seem to be the one you would pick - not that I think that would be ANY more justified than seeing the WBC as somehow better than the others.

My view? They are ALL corrupt parasites that constitute a cancer on boxing and should be replaced by one truly worldwide body, perhaps under the auspices of the UN, or perhaps some international quasi-governmental organization.
