    Floyd will probably (hopefully) sign, he might be doing this because he is such an attention *****/drama queen.

    "When will Floyd sign?"

    ***Oh the boxing world is so desperately awaiting for Floyd to sign, he's bigger than boxing, all roads go through him***

    Just sign the damn contract already.

    This just in. Floyd's inability to sign the Fight contract with Shane was caused by the numb hands. Damn Xylocaine!

    I'm not sure whether or not Floyd is delaying an announcement to hype the fight but Jacory (as much as I can't stand him) is actually right in that it will only help sales, IMO. By Floyd not immediately signing (or at least revealing that he immediately signed) it makes it look like he is concerned about Mosley, which in turn makes the fight seem more competitive than it really is. And since the people who tune in to watch Floyd's fights are people hoping that he's finally gonna lose, it only makes them more interested in purchasing this supposedly real chance that he might lose.

    I personally don't think that's what he's doing though. I think he's scared of Shane and doing some serious risk vs. reward thinking. 40 mill for Pac makes a lot more sense than 10 mill for Shane, esp. given that while Pac could hurt him, Shane could kill him. Not that I think Shane does, though.

    LOL@ you.............Mosley could not kill the clubfighters Mayorga, Margarito and the totally washed up shot Vargas but he is gonna kill FMJ.........Newsflash Sonny.......old Mosley wants a payday, thats it, the realistic chances of him winning this fight is like you winning a 1oo mil lottery aka nil chance.

    A few years ago maybe more competitve but now it is a foregone conclusion and Mosley never ever dealt well with a jab and movement. He needs to brawl, period ,tobe successful but FMJ will not play thatgame................Mosleys style is much better suited for Pacs brawling type of warfare.

    you know whats funny, if pacquiao/clottey due happen to get more ppv's, they will demand a bigger cut of the split between floyd and pac. If Floyd/Mosley sell's more ppv's, floyd is still going to have to agree with the 50/50 split in order to fight pacquiao, pacquiao will still be #1 P4P and still regarded as the best fighter of this era.

    at the end, its floyd who needs pacquiao, not the other way around

    I thought this fight is big and doesn't need to be hype, I guess I'm wrong.

    Funny, but the threadstarter and him apparently have identical thought processes. Hmm :huh

    Mosley -> :bbb "C'mon let's fight!"
    Floyd -> :think "Lemme think, no!"

    :rofl

    yes, a brilliant way to increase interest in a PPV card is to hold off on signing and lose valuable promotion opportunities (i.e. at the Superbowl). Floyd is obviously a marketing genius.

    Floyd is far from "scared". Come on, you don't lose heart from winning every fight. Whatever the case, he went on record as saying it and on more than one occasion. 5 months out is far to promote and train for a fight. Don't really need that much time to do either. Look at the Pac/Clottey fight. They only needed two. It will sell and they are not as attractive.
