I've been kind of hard on Williams for no reason. It just irked me a bit that I thought he was getting by sometimes on his height and reach (and he did in this fight a bit). But hey it's part of boxing it's not his fault he's skinny and tall. He gets total respect from me. He comes to fight and gives GREAT ****ing fights. Martinez impressed me greatly in this fight and gets total respect from me as well. I feel bad for the guy, he could have won a decision here but it didn't go his way. And he got robbed twice vs Cintron. The guy needs a break. :good
Yeah the guy is just a non-stop punching machine with tons of heart. Both fighters have guts and heart. Great fight!
It was a great fight and both gave 100%, from beginning to end. I really appreciate what both bring to boxing.
Yeah, tonite's fight was fantastic. Martinez does deserve a break. And i think i know just the guy.........Jim Lampley.....he seemed so gay for Martinez. Martinez was very impressive.,,made great adjustments....he seemed to tire toward the end and began holding alot, but that's boxing. He made himself alot of new fans tonite.
Max Kellerman and Lampley had the balls to tell the truth. Martinez won the fight. Watch William's head get knocked back over and over again! Pierre Benoist was a sick criminal!

Same here, I've never been a big fan of PW because of his freakish dimensions, but the man showed a lot of heart and determination. He took a lot of punishment from Martinez and was able to take it and deal his own special brand of non-stop punching punishment. And Martinez impressed me as well with how he dealt with PW's size, constantly moving and landing tons of flush power shots. He didn't seem intimidated by PWill at all. Great fighters, great fight! **** judge.
