Early headbut, some ellbows and lowblows, holding and hitting with right hooks on the cut, holding, much more holding, blind referee. Hmm it would still be close

Do what he did against Wright.

Move side to side and stay at a distance. And when he chooses to, come in with the lead right hand and smother him. Then throw 5 punch combinations to follow and then back up again. Joe C is going to get frustrated. I can see it now.

Nah...let's be realistic...Joe was in there with Bika - The Master...Joe would even outdirty Hopkins if he had to...Hopkins has no chance.

 More like he will do what he normally does, run round the ring for 12 rounds throwing the odd punch.

    well,

Hopkins starts the fight at press conferences and weigh-in. he knows how to get under his opponent's skin.

    Should that fail...

Hopkins has a very accurate jab and right hand. Check his fight plan against Tarver(another lefty). He made Tarver come to him and he needn't expend a lot of energy to come forward. He also was very patient and methodical in breaking down his man.

Plus, Hopkins is a badass infighter. Something which is underrated by some.

Just my opinion, you may not like his personality or trashtalk, but I think a lot of you are underestimating him simply because of Joe's win over Mikkel Kessler.

Ol Bhop will not beat JC, unless he knocks him out, but JC chin is iron clad! I hope this fight happens for the sole reason of seeing BHOP eat humble pie, othrewise, **** hopkins and his "hard negotiating" bull****! Anyway, rant over, had a shite day at work!!!!

    Movement and angles.

But I don't think he can do it.

Joe is so experienced now that he will win the pre-fight mental battle. I don't care about his personality one bit...we're talking boxing now. And how am I underestimating Hopkins by overestimating Joe? :huh

JC is also a great infighter, I just dont see Nard getting the W in this one! Thats not to say if it had happened years back the result wouldnt be different, just not this version of BHOP

If he couldn't beat Taylor THEN...why would he be able to beat Joe NOW?
