    hop will smother him forcing tha speed to be null and void making him fight a in fight which B-Hop can inflict his tactics and control the whole fight. Cal will not be able to control this fight.

    Nah...it would work against lesser opponents but if Joe does what Enzo tells him to, as he does in big fights, he cannot lose. It might look ugly and nasty, but he would get a clear 4 point decision at least, even with biased judges.

    It is unfair to Joe, because he is a great fighter. He just had his reasons to not fight in the US and not fight the best possible competition. But now, knowing anything can happen on any given night, the risk is very great in taking on an aged legend of the sport for him. But he still needs to do it, and I think he will....if Hops will. Similar situations were Lewis vs Tyson, Cotto vs Mosley, Floyd vs Hoya, all 3 (Lewis, Cotto and Floyd) were in a must win in those fights :deal

    When Hopkins said he would control and dictate the pace of the fight against Wright, i didn't think he could do it. With Wright's sheer activity, stiff jab, and defense, i thought Wright would dictate the pace. Boy was i wrong.

    Hopkin's stamina is at worst, on par with Joe's, and probably better. Hopkins is ideally situated for 15 rounders.

    Joe's work rate will actually play right into Hopkins's strengths.

    His style is nothing Hopkins can't figure out. Again, it is something that will work against him, for he lacks the adaptability and versatility of the great Bernard Hopkins.

    rofl, but this is exactly what bernard needs to do to win. His headbutt will be the key. Expect him to cut joe with it.

    Ah, but Kika isn't nearly as adept at fouling as Hopkins is. Seriously...Hopkins can string together a right uppercut to the beltline/ left hook to the kidney/ left elbow followthrough to the head combination...and position himself in such a fashion that an opponent gets reprimanded if he chooses to retaliate.

    Even at this advanced age, I would still give Hopkins the edge in terms of defensive ability, and in terms of punch accuracy. So...if he avoids Calzaghe's leds, counters with a right, and grabs on...he'll have won the exchange.

    And, to be honest, I can see him doing that routine over the course of 12 rounds with Calzaghe. Don't sleep on X...he's a serious threat to defeat anyone at the weight.

    To people who know their ****, Lacy was expected, Kessler was expected....does this make them not impressive?

    You know what...Im leaving for work, but when I get back, I will make my long ass post once again on why I feel Bernard will win this one. Just for you Dec....
