he is good really impressed me against cotto was surprising, but still he isnt the best boxer right now, puncher yes, staight out fighter maybe but boxer no, if floyd boxes him he will win if he tries and fight with him he will lose
This is a little insulting to dolphins. Flipper never made such a transparent attempt to get attention by spewing nonsense out of his blowhole.
So every one here is telling me that ricky hatton is a good boxer(you say i dont know boxing) .that david diaz was a good opponet at the time for 135 pound wt class.that oscar was the same oscar that stepped into the ring with lets say mayorga or that morales was not wieght drained in his fight and yes his first fight with barrera was one of his good wins my mistake but maybe these fights at another weight class and another year may put him at a higher rank.CHILD PLEASE:bart:bart P.S. Everyone here needs to get of Pacs NUTS
believe me leaving out Pac vs Barrera I is not the only mistake you made. Just the only one you admitted
Top 20 for me! He's probably right at the top, but I think he needs a couple more fights/accomplishment to break the top 20......Not necessarily Floyd although that would be the most meaningful fight should he win. But he could also get an 8th world title at 154 against Yur!:rofl Although it would lack the kind of substance a win over floyd at 147 would bring its still a great accomplishment adding anther belt in anther division to his already impressive resume. No matter how you try to spin it....discredit PAC or nit pick at every little detail about his ring record there is no denying his greatness.....some do over rate PAC just as some underrate him, but I feel high top 20 ATG status is more than fair with regards to Manny.
Ricky isn't the best boxer but he was good enough to beat KT. He was also good enough to reign as Jr WW king for a good few years....one of the longest runs a th Jr WW champion. Sure Ricky had his flaws....but so did guys like Jake Lamatta and Rocky Marciano. David Diaz was a means to an end! IT was almost like window dressing for PAC's establishing an ever growing legacy that would see him move up in the divisions seeking bigger and more difficult challenges. Anther title in anther weight class against a perfect opponent who happened to be a champion........Let's not forget Floyd did the same when he face Aurturo Gatti!:good For what its worth......let's really take a look at DLH against PAC. DLH lasted what??? 8 Rounds...pretty one sided??? Rght???? Now lets look at Ricky......Destroyed 2 rounds....no need to discuss and now most recently Miguel Cotto......That fight was one sided, the fight should could have been stopped in the 8th......SHOULD have been stopped in the 9th.....just embarrassing in the 10th.........criminal in the 11th and finally someone saved Cotto from having to run away from what was inevitable. THat wasn't the DLH from 1998-2005! No question about it! But that was the SAME DLH who faught DLH less than a year ealier and the same one who faced Stevie Forbes right before facing PAC.
Yes he is that good. #1 P4P and greatest fighter of this generation "not that good"?, that's ridiculous. He wouldn't be rated up there if he wasn't that good. Pacman immediately goes to the Leonard, Robinson, Ali..etc category without ANY discussion. If you can't see what this guy is doing then you need to wake up, other guys are worried about making dollars this guy is making history. When your mentality is 100% legacy then you're definitely great, it's not easy to have that kind of mentality.
We don't have to prove to you that Pac is an ATG. You made the post. You're claiming that he's not. So the burden of proof is on you to make your case. But you FAIL miserably and humorously. 1) Morales was done after Raheem? That’s ******ed. Raheem frustrated Morales all night. But to claim that this particular fight finished a blood and guts fighter like Morales is Moronic. FAIL #1 2) I know you already got schooled on the Barerra claim, but it’s funny that you claim Juarez washed him up (especially since Barerra did BETTER against Pac the second time) FAIL #2 3) That claim you made about Hatton is sub-moronic on many levels. Hatton was a very dangerous and capable fighter in his time. Good “boxer?” No, but a lot of energy and a punishing style. Watch the Mayweather fight and you’ll see that Hatton gave PBF all he could handle for a few rounds. Was he washed up against Pac? It does seem he had no punch resistance (and a really bad strategy). But to say he was never anything is FAIL #3 But the real idiotic thing you say is that Hatton was hyped into existence by PBF. That just so…well, it’s FAIL #4 4) David Diaz was a jump in weight for Pac. Not a great fighter, Diaz, but no creampuff. And who cares anyway? FAIL #5 5) You make a dumb claim designed to get attention and when we point that out you say we must be on Pac’s NUTS? Wait, I think that…I see it coming…It’s…FAIL #6
