Watching PAC break apart Cotto like that is the most amazing boxing thing I've seen in my life time. Even better than when RJJ beat up Toney. I cant fathom why anyone would want to try and revise or devalue it.
It's pretty sickening the last few days how many Pacman haters there are. They are bringing up all these negative things about him. We are lucky to just witness greatness like this in person. When we are old, we will get to tell people that we got to see him live. Just like we can tell people we saw Michael Jordan or Tiger Woods play.
Pac has done things I gave him NO chance of doing a short while ago, I never in a million years dreamed he could walk through Migel Cotto's shots the way he did, or knock Ricky Hatton cold in 2 rounds. Credit has to be given to him, he simply is that good. Look at how many weight classes he has gone through, the fighters he has fought, and the fashion in which he has beaten them. I would say top 25 ATG, its a no brainer. Why is it easier to try and take away from someone than to just admit they are great?
Ricky Hatton is a decent boxer, a good brawler and has a lot of balls. Sorry but I cannot stand people who try and rip on him for losing, look at the shot he got hit with! He rushed in, got too excited and paid the price, end of. I am not saying Ricky would of beat Manny, but just look at Hattons past fights. He went into the Kostya Tszyu fight an underdog and he made the guy quit on his stool! Kostya Tszyu was a beast! Stop making excuses and just accept it, Manny is a good fighter, he has his gameplans, he sticks to them and wins fights. Also, what the hell does a fighter have to do to get respect in your eyes? atsch
PACMAN did not win a title in all divisions he was in. But he was rated at least top5 in most of them. or maybe top10 in the lowest divisions. and he was rated top 1-4 in featherweight jr lightweight light weight jr welterweight welterweight and top10 in flyweight super flyweight bantamweight jr featherweight thats an ATG resume. If he fights at jr middle weight he can possibly be in the top10 by beating some ranked boxers.
He seems to be getting plenty of credit lately. Many posters here have him at the least in their top 20 ATG list, which is a hell of a lot of credit. In fact, I have yet to see a fighter get more unanimous respect on ESB than Pac is right now. But to answer the thread starter, yes, he is that good. The most impressive resume since SRL, particularly when you take into account the way he is beating people.
The same for me, I all but counted him out against Oscar and Hatton. The Cotto fight made me think a bit but what I thought was not in the dominating fashion in which he delivered. I thought Cotto's punching power was gonna give Pac problems but he walked through Cotto's punches and totally dominated him. Credit is definitely due to Pacman
This has got to be the, most confusing, most non-sense and yet unfinished sentence I have ever farghin seen!
know one here seems to complain about the oscar fight which 2 me was a garbage win i dont hear that ,someone tell me wats so great about beating a useless old dehydrated man:yep:yep:yep also i think he lost to marquez the 2nd time KEEP HATIN ON ME I LOVE IT AND IM NOT HATING ON PAC I JUST DONT SEE HIM AS A TOP TEN
