And I mean, what's next to be broken?

The guy had so much talent to be a champion and now he seems to be falling apart.

First a broken orbital, then a broken nose...

maybe a broken jaw or rib?

The guy seems a total waste now.

He's done! I've never rated him that highly TBH. He needs a ground game... but the UFC is not the place to learn that.

They should cut him. They don't need him to draw the filipinos or anything like that, GSP can do that on his own after having that visit to Manilla and training with Freddie Roach. Vera is done.

Mentally he isn't there. He talks alot but never delivers. He freezes in a fight if he isn't the one giving it.

His nose was BAD and that changes opinions so the UFC might give him another shot.

Usually, small timers lose 2 and get cut, regulars lose 3 and get cut. Vera is an old timer and should be given the chance to lose 4 before being cut though in a high level fight I think he might lose that 4th fight too!

Where did this view come from that Vera was ever the goods in the first place? Apart from beating up Frank Mir pretty badly after his motorcyle accident his entire career has been very average. Actually less than average. He fights once a year now and has back to back losses. Why he hasnt been cut already i dont know. Vera is just alot of talk and very little else.

Basically the guy is a bully, he can give it but folds if someone actually fights back. He started out everyround with a flurry and a mean face. But as soon a Thiago hit him once, nothing. Glad he got a spanking 'literally', Thiago is the wrong dude to raise your hands and celebrate to the crowd when you land a kick
Hopefully he'll get cut, and we'll never hear of his 'potential' again

Brandon Vera is what i would consider a travisty of MMA , all those people shouting out how bad he is , i bet my bottom dollar after he rolled through Asuerio Silva and Frank Mir you were not saying that .

Vera's style makes for good entertainment , but thats where it stops now , he's had too many " this is it " style fights , that were supposed to be his coming out party , i dont think the UFC will cut him , i honestly dont think they should either , its not like the guy is shot , more like he cant pull the trigger and is still working out what style of fighter he is , he claimed that defending TD's was draining him of energy and that he was very comfortable on the ground therefore he's now going to punish people in his guard , and now he seems like a fighter who looks to pull guard and work off his back , thats not a smart thing to do .

Maybe a camp change and a break from the sport is whats needed for Vera , id like to see him in the UFC for many years , i think his style is entertaining and i like the guy :good

Maybe you hadnt noticed , you dont have a Gi in the UFC therefore even the best of Jui Jitsu practitioner's can be exploited from there back , Royce , Penn , Mir to name but a few

It was a great start to the new year to see Veras face re-arranged again. This guy is a disgrace to the Pinoys because of the lack of heart. **** Ive never seen anyone like him. I think he has mental issues as well, he knocked Silva down and raised his hands up in victory. Whats up with that?

At least Munoz gives it all win or lose and is classy as they come.
