Alvarado sounding 'punch drunk'

    He doesn't sound punchy but he's definitely talking slower if you compare this interview to some that he did right before the rematch. I'd advise him to retire after the Provodnikov fight but Arum will undoubtedly throw a lot of money at him to fight Pacman.

    Yeah... I didn't really see anything to be alarmed about... Although maybe James Tony has set the bar for being called "punch drunk" so high that this doesn't seem bad.

    He sounds ok. He's having a hard time getting his words right, but he might not have been expecting to get interviewed with Radio Raheem.
    Sounds to me like he has a bit of a stuffy nose. lol

    People are too fussy. And he is quite young to be "punch drunk" already I'd say. He was likely just nervous.

    He is defiantly struggling to coordinate his words at a normal speed at the moment he is kind of hiding it well. I think he is likely to become a walking corpse in 20 years if he doesn't retire soon.
