Looks like it will be Angulo getting the crack at Alvarez on March 8. Also, Saul's brother Ricardo is taking on Omar Figueroa in another bout on the card.

    Pitiful move.

    Fighting Kirklands leftovers.

    James ruined that guy.

I have no problem with this fight but it is really PPV-worthy?

Canelito is all but admitting he can't beat too many guys at 154 just by taking this fight.

There is no reason canelo shouldn't be fighting lara

  6. He just came off a brutal loss, and it was his first one.

So I don't mind Alvarez taking a soft touch for his comeback. And Angulo is no soft touch.

What I'm pissed about is that it's PPV. Alvarez alone is not PPV worthy.

Angulo is a top 10 JMW and does have talent to justify this match up. Good fight.

It can't be on PPV unless the card is stacked and has Mares-Gonzalez and other good figths, and even then the price couldn't be 70 bucks

Angulo is a good fighter and can upset Canelo he will test his chin and look at the fight he gave Lara, Canelo maybe made a mistake taking on Perro, rooting for Angulo in this one

LOL @ "Brutal loss". That's a very liberal definition of the word "brutal".

Angulo could really f*ck this kid up. I have never bought into the hype of Canelo's power, and he certainly doesn't have the skills Lara had. Lara barely escaped with his life from Angulo.

    Stupid stupid stupid.

So if he fought Kirkland he'd be fighting Ishida's leftovers? That would be much worse, on face value.

If he fought Lara he'd be fighting Molina's leftovers? Come on.

I get that Angulo has lost more big fights than he's won in the last 2+ years, but when two top 10 fighters face off, one will lose.

Possibly, but that is one stinker of a fight on paper.
