    nope

What is left of Angulo does nothing for Alvarez or anybody.

He looked solid against Lara in his last fight and Lara is probably the second best guy in the division and the guy a lot of people want Alvarez to face next.

Alvarez should win but its a nice match up that should have a lot of action in it.

unless molina priced himself out i give props to canelo for taking this fight. there was no way that carlos was going to beat alvarez and his gbp judges and with angulo this fights probably not going to go to the cards.

if the angulo that fought lara still exists(70 punches/round)then canelo will probably lose.

canelo was never going to face kirkland or lara and everyone that follows boxing knew that.

james is the one guy at 154 that could, and probably would, ruin the 5'7" canelo.

That's how GB rolls (or any promoter of a fighter of Alvarez's stature). They'll give every advantage to Canelo, while El Perro will get the short end of the stick. You like the ref job Cole gave for Broner against Madaina? Alvarez will get even more favoritism against Angulo.

I would've preferred Angulo vs Molina (I think Angulo destroys Molina) and then for him to face Alvarez.

If HBO is smart, they'll go all out to get the Molina-Kirkland rematch. It would help pull away the GB/Showtime control over 154.

Canelo just beat Trout, Faced Floyd and neither Lara or Angulo is good enough oponents for you.

Stop being such a whiny **** about Little Red!

It will be ppv they're trying to turn Canelo into a ppv star I think all of his fights now will be ppv. The undercard will most likely be good which will help justify it.

nine months is nothing for a veteran like angulo and the rest will do him more good than any tune-up

a guy like alfred, who doesnt rely on speed, reflexes and timing, is not the type of fighter that needs a tune-up

Granted, I don't expect Lara Alvarez to be the reincarnation of Gatti Ward but come on, you can admit that this fight needs to happen...
