Did you not see the respect Kessler gave to Joe and Carl after his losses to them? So how can you accuse him of being a bad loser?

What about Paulie, was he a sore loser to Ward after he highlighted the blatant low blows and the ridiculous decision to stop the fight?

It's funny we didn't hear any complaints from Kovalev after his loss to Alvarez! He's a bad loser right, so he should be all over twitter complaining, yet he's not, why's that then do you think? Because he lost fair and square within the rules of boxing.

As for your point about these fighters returning headbutts with headbutts etc You need to understand these men are professional boxers, not street thugs, and they knew the moment they began using the same disgusting tactics back, they'd have been deducted points and then disqualified.

Artorias is absolutely right, you people celebrate the corruption when it's benefiting your favorite fighter. Celebrate it as if it's right and just!

The real boxing purists understand it's nothing but fraud that had taken place in both of their fights.

Kovalev won first fight against ward, lost second and it wasn’t because of the low blows. Ward is a dirty, boring fighter , but gotta give him credit for a second win.

He was a 30 seconds or even a round from stopping him the same way.

    An alcoholic?

    Really?

No, I don't think Kovalev did win the first fight.

I had Andre just nicking it with great body work.

I suggest that if you want me to watch a video, it's a video that's broken down objectively with clear angles etc, and not this biased cry baby nonsense.

    Let's break the above down:

All the shots that hit the 'red K' are legal, but you're either told they're not, or they just get conveniently ignored.

Many of the shots are from an angle where you can't see where they specifically land, yet you are told where they did.

The video is obviously very biased, made by a guy with a deep dislike of Andre Ward.

Basically, it's a steaming pile of dog s...

Do yourself a favour, and go and watch the actual fight, and then we'll break it down.

    Correct.

The 'red K' on the top of Sergey's shorts was repeatedly tagged. And as per the pre-fight instructions, that area was deemed legal.

I can remember the day after the fight where people were trying to compare it to Bowe-Golota.

    It was embarrassing.

You have to watch the fight again.

    Seriously.

Ward hit Kovalev with 2 clean body shots in the last round, and Kovalev moved backwards and desperately looked at Weeks to help him. He then got stung by that right hand, and his tank was empty. The only shots he fired back were 2 feeble jabs.

Personally, I'd like to have seen Weeks leave it a bit longer, but he was done at that point. Weeks had seen enough.

Look at Kovalev's legs. Look at his body language. Look at how dejected he looked in the corner at the end of the 7th. He was done.

That last shot and the stoppage didn't rob Kovalev. It robbed Ward of a cleaner win.

    How?

Andre only had respectable power at SMW, and he moved up to stop a huge punching LHW who was in his prime.

You're looking at different fighters, with different circumstances, at different stages of their careers.

    It's embarrassing to compare Bowe-Golota.

Golota repeatedly landed extremely low blows with intention.

Golota came up between the legs with uppercuts ffs.. Ward hit Krusher's body. This gif proves it to be a pretty cut and dry situation if you ask me.

Ward was fully within his rights to continue hitting Kovalev as he hunched over , but he took a step back and basally looked to Weeks and said - what the hell am i meant to do here???.

And that was before he landed the right hand that put Kovalev back in that same hunched over position.
At that point Kovalev was hunched over like he was in pain for the 3rd time so Weeks had seen enough and ended the contest.

Yeah , the last shot did go in low , but it wasn't the deciding factor that made Weeks step in and call it a day for Sergey.

    Great post mate.

I agree with everything you have said.

Your gif shows 2, 100% clean body shots, which hurt Sergey and had him looking towards Weeks in vain.

If you don't mind, I'm going to copy your gif.
