Alvarez Beat Kovalev in Spectacular fashion, what does that say about Ward's 2 fights?

Good win for Alvarez but something tells me that Alvarez is gonna milk his belt like Stevenson is doing right now. That's my only issue with Alvarez winning this fight. He's not very active. his last fight was like almost a year ago. At least with Kovalev, he typically fights 2-3 times a year.

It would not surprise me if Alvarez doesn't fight again this year if Kovalev doesn't pursue the rematch.

that could happen because they have the same promoter and advisor. Alvarez also will become easier to market in Quebec because he is fluent in French wasn't a pimp, and didn't duck anyone. Also the step aside money wasn't they wrote him a cheque and said here is money step aside it was. here's a fight for this money vs bute. or vs Pascal. Bute was the most popular fighter in Quebec ever and when he lost to Alvarez a lot of bute followers became Alvarez followers. then he beat Pascal (don't look at boxrec the fight wasn't even close) Lots of fans from Quebec went to the kovalev fight. neither guy was booed you can argue alvarez got a better reception. (Stevenson would have been booed to the moon) Duva has the rematch which she shouldn't use as a rematch she could say "okay I wont use the rematch clause BUT only if you fight my other fighter bivol"
and I really hope that's what happens. then give Kovalev one tune up fight to see if he can fight with better stamina and see where he's at he's not done yet but he's close.
