He will throw his fearsome triple pitty-pat jab. Then, his face will scrunch up and get all serious as he wings a wild hook to the body, which will land illegally on the back. He will then eat a shot and quickly bounce outside, puckering up his lips to show appreciation. He will raise his gloves up in the ready position, only to jerk them around restlessly as he robotically moves his head from side to side as Alvarez walks in and throws some more shots.

    Repeat.

The reason he didnt put away Hatton imo cause Alvarez was wearing winning gloves in which i notice it. But in his last 2 fights when he wear grant gloves, he's won his last two fights by tko in the early rounds so it kind of make sense. I know ppl talk about wearing any kind of gloves dont matter but it actually does if it doesnt then lets have 1 gloves that is the same like everlast?

Mosley's been gun shy against Floyd and Pacquiao. I'm hoping he will let his hands go this time around. He says he's 100% now (more like 65% since he's old now).

I was a little concerned about this too. Hatton is only one step above journeyman status IMO, that no-man's land between journeyman and genuine contender, an inflated contender if you like, fighting at a weight above one he is comfortable with.

Yeah, Alvarez should have put him away - I don't even think you can really say it was a "learning" fight, what did he learn?

Boxing is full of old fighters telling a snickering press that they are "at their best."

    Alvarez will win.

Alvarez looked bad against Cintron. I know he took him out but all Cintron did was throw power shots.
    Mosley might win.

So-Floyd and Pacquiao couldn't even put away an old Shane Mosley....Pac and his team swore up and down pre-fight that it would be easy...their fault-means absolutely nothing-stop acting like it does-

    end thread.

He was weight drained against Hatton and was not allowed to come in the ring over a certain limit.

Hatton isn't very good but he does have a sturdy chin. Not sure he's ever been stopped, could be wrong ?
