Alvarez Dont Have the Stamina to Fight Mexican Style

Lara moved a lot but didn't have the power Cotto has which will do two things.....keep Nelo honest and take some steam away from him down the stretch. That's if Cotto can fight his fight and take the younger man deep and prevent Alvarez from gaining any sustained momentum.

 

My thought as well except for the "poor mans cotto". They both fight in similar styles with Cotto having more experience but at the same time being way more worn out. Canelo is younger, stronger and maybe a little faster. I slightly favor canelo plus the fact that hes the future and Cotto is already speaking about retirement makes me think one or two judges already have their score card filled out

 

but Cotto doesn't run half as good as Lara.

 

Cotto > Canelo

Accomplished more.

Knows how to adapt.

Has better stamina.

No ko/tko in this fight

 

I don't think that suits his style...to run. Cotto needs to be in position to leverage the power he naturally has and running wouldn't allow for that.
